Welcome to Oasis Alternative Provision
Oasis Alternative Provision provides a nurturing, inclusive and therapeutic learning environment for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We provide personalised education and support designed around each learner's individual strengths, needs and outcomes.
Our approach is relationship-based and informed by PACE principles – Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy. Staff are trained to use PACE approaches to build trusting relationships, support emotional regulation and help learners feel safe, understood and ready to engage in learning.
We recognise that behaviour is a form of communication and seek to understand what a child may be communicating through their behaviour. Through consistent relationships, individualised learning, sensory-aware support and meaningful experiences, we help learners develop confidence, communication, independence and engagement with education.
